Bei der Migration befindet sich der Geist in einem Zustand der Verwirrung und versucht, sich anzupassen und gleichzeitig seine Identität zu erfassen, die er an seinem Heimatort zurückgelassen hat. This Experimental film explores how a person’s sense of belonging to a place can shift when they migrate outside their home country. La Manigua, in Spanish, refers to the thickness of the jungle, a set of abundant bushes hard to infiltrate, but it also refers to the abundance of confusion and chaos. When migrating, the mind finds itself in a state of confusion, trying to fit in while simultaneously trying to grasp that identity that is somehow left behind with the place. It looks for a narrative that explains where it belongs and what part of this identity is still connected.
